CCTV SURVEYS
CCTV surveys of drains are an important part of our business. The fact that drains are underground and therefore hidden from view can make accurate diagnosis of problems difficult. We use CCTV to go into the drain and we can then view the exact nature of the problem and use the best solution to fix it.
Specially developed state-of-the-art camera technology, which produces high quality colour pictures, allows the operator to see the inside of drains, pipes and sewers.
The camera is propelled through the pipework using a semi-rigid rod. The camera automatically stays upright and tracks the distance traveled. The findings are displayed on a screen viewed by the operator and if required, can be recorded onto VHS format, either for later review or for presentation to the customer.
Quick and accurate problem identification makes a major contribution to our reputation of fast, efficient and cost effective maintenance. CCTV surveys can also be used when purchasing a house - Surveyors often specify that a drain survey is carried out, or if you suspect Pitch - Fibre pipes have been used then pre-emptive maintenance may be indicated.
